Travelling to NZ requires that your pet is microchipped with an ISO 11784/11785 15 digit microchip. 

Your pet needs to have resided in a rabies controlled country for at least 6 months before travelling and if the first injection rabies or booster has expired, the dog has to be injected no more than 6 months and no less than 12 months before travel.

Many other tests, including a Rabies Titre Test,  Leptospirosis, Heartworm, Brucella Canis and external and internal parasite treatments need to be carried out - a full list is available on request to us.
